Arriving by Train
There are two train stations in Guildford – Guildford’s mainline station which brings you out on Walnut Tree Close and is just a short walk down Bridge Street to the heart of the town centre. The mainline station has direct links from most major nearby towns, including London Waterloo.
The other station is Guildford London Road station, which is perfect for the Upper High Street, London Road and Epsom road.

Arriving by Bus
One of the easiest ways to experience Guildford is by bus. The bus station is located adjacent to the Friary centre and all parts of the town centre are within walking distance from it.

Guildford Park & Ride
Guildford park and ride is the smart way to get into Guildford. Park and ride lets you park free of charge at one of four car parks – Spectrum, Artington, Merrow, and Onslow – and pay to travel into Guildford on the bus. You will need to pay the driver in cash when you get on the bus. Park and ride buses drop you off and collect you by the Friary, a handy location for both major shops and offices.

|This service operates Monday to Friday from 7.27am to 11.10pm. Buses run every 12 minutes until 7.30pm, and every 20 minutes afterwards till 11.10pm. The bus takes approximately 8 minutes to get to the Friary bus station, and there is an extra drop-off point in North Street, by the library. Spectrum carpark is located at GU1 1UP.||This service operates Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 7.30pm. The bus takes approximately seven minutes. There are extra pick up stops towards the Park and Ride site and drop off stops towards Guildford town centre along Portsmouth Road. The site is situated at GU3 1LP.||This service operates Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 7.33pm. The bus takes approximately 12 minutes. There is an extra getting on/off stop at North Street, by the library. The site is situated at GU4 7AA.||This service operates Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 7pm. The bus takes approximately 10 minutes. There is an extra getting on/off stop on Guildford Park Road at the back of the railway station. The site is situated at GU2 7AD.|
