halow young people step into the saddle for a super static 250 mile cycling challenge

Join the halow project’s  young people outside Waitrose in Guildford as they attempt to cycle 250 miles and partner with halow’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the halow250 bike ride.

The young people will be attempting to mirror the long-standing halow250 bike ride, which covers 250 miles from London to France in just 48 hours, led by the charity’s patron, Damon Hill OBE.

The super static bike ride will take place on Friday 3 to 5 May outside the main entrance of Waitrose with two exercise bikes.  halow young people will be rotating throughout the weekend and giving it everything they have got!

The event is led by the Building Futures Group, who are currently in training for their upcoming cycling challenge and they hope to reach their goal of £1500 for the halow project.

Please help the young people reach their fundraising by donating to their Justgiving Page.

All money raised will support young people with a learning disability by providing a range of services to enable independence including social activities, a 1:1 buddy service and supported living.

The halow project would like to thank the continued support of Waitrose’s Guildford store, who without their partnership, we could not host this event.
